VetSuccess on Campus
The VetSuccess on Campus (VSOC) program is dedicated to supporting servicemembers, veterans, and their qualified dependents by offering a range of valuable services. The program ensures that students have seamless access to VA services and provides guidance to facilitate their successful integration into college and university campuses. By focusing on individualized educational goals, the VSOC program aims to help students persist, graduate, and improve their life circumstances.
Some services can include:
- adjustment counseling to resolve problems interfering with completion of education programs and entrance into employment
- assisting with disability accommodations
- vocational testing
- career and academic counseling
- expedited Chapter 31 services
- support and assistance to all student veterans with VA benefits regardless of entitlement
- assistance with navigating the academic environment and process
- referral to VA health services as needed
Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor (VRC)
We are pleased to introduce Miriam Riplinger, our new Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor at George Washington University. With a decade of experience in vocational rehabilitation, Miriam brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to support our students.
Walk-in Hours: Fridays, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. (Starting August 23)
