VA Work Study Program
Military & Veteran Services (MVS) participates in the VA Work Study Program by offering employment opportunities for military-affiliated students who are using their VA education benefits while attending GW. Through this program, students can work between 8-25 hours per week performing administrative tasks and assisting military-affiliated students and family members with process or benefits questions. This is a paid opportunity ($17/hour). Students must meet the following to be accepted:
- Must be registered for the upcoming semester at a minimum of ¾ time
- Must request certification via GWeb prior to due dates listed below
- Complete the Application for Work-Study Allowance (valid for 1 year)

Summer 2024 Application opens on April 15 and closes May 3.
Accepted applicants will be notified by MVS Staff by Friday, May 10, 2024.
