On Thursday, May 26th, GW VALOR held the 2016 Memorial Day Wreath Laying ceremony. Over thirty people attended the event, and honored those who have died in service to the United States of America. Remarks were given by Yannick Baptiste, President of the GW Vets organization, and Dr. Bell Julian Clement, a GW professor and mother of a fallen service-member. David Myerson, a veteran student associated with GW Vets, read a poem, and the colors were presented by the GW Police Department Honor Guard. The wreath was presented by Yannick Baptiste, Dr. Bell Julian Clement, and Erika Feinman, the President of the S.A. The national anthem and taps were performed by Anthony Evans, a veteran student associated with GW Vets.

GW VALOR deeply appreciates each and every person who participated and attended the ceremony. Thanks to the help of the GW community, this annual ceremony helps us remember and honor those who have given the last full measure of devotion to our great nation.
